Tools and other instruments

The pick and the hoe were used to work the ground: the forms are still used today.

Heavy, wide knives have been interpreted to be meat knives. They are also present as sacrificial instruments at the sides of stone altars.

The coulter was used as a preliminary cutter. It's design is of Celtic-Germanic influence, with a combination of skythe and sickle.
